The Federal Communications Commission recently modernized the Lifeline program to allow stand-alone broadband services to be eligible for subsidies for low-income consumers. Panelists will discuss the details of the order including implementation timeline, eligibility, who can provide Lifeline broadband service, minimum standards (speeds), anchor institution involvement, and outreach.
